Atomi Gyokushi 跡見玉枝

跡見玉枝 Atomi Gyokushi (1858-1943) A Japanese-style painter born in Tokyo, she specialised in depicting cherry blossoms. In addition to presenting paintings of cherry blossoms to the Imperial Family, she devoted herself to girls’ education and mentored many female painters.
