Fukano Chido 深野知堂

深野知堂 Fukano Chido (b1863)
Japanese painter born in Kumamoto, Hizen Province in 3 Bunkyuu. He was also known as Rokuyo Gakujin-六餘學人. Served as chief judge of the Nagoya District Court, where he studied and honed his mastery of Chinese Ming and Qing masterpieces and mastery of Nanshu painting.
