東久世通禧 Higashikuze Michitomi (1834-1912)
Japanese courtier and politician from the late Edo period to the Meiji period. Tea master. He was one of the noble expulsorist court nobles who fled to Choshu after the fall of the seven feudal lords. After the restoration of the monarchy, he served as governor-general for foreign affairs and was in charge of diplomatic negotiations for the newly established government. He later became vice president of the House of Peers and vice president of the Privy Council. He was a member of the nobility (count).
