Iwata Sentaro 岩田専太郎

岩田専太郎 Iwata Sentaro (1901-1974)
Illustrator. Born in Tokyo. Studied under Ito Shinsui. His specialty was sensual female illustrations with beautifully drawn lines, which adorned the covers of popular entertainment magazines, as well as newspaper and magazine novels (especially popular historical novels). He also painted full-scale Japanese-style paintings and exhibited them at exhibitions.
