Kano Eitoku 狩野永悳
狩野永悳 Kano Eitoku (1815-1891)
A Japanese painter of the Kano school active from the late Edo period through the Meiji era. He was the Six son of Kano Isen-in Naganobu, the sixth-generation head of the Kano family of Kobikichō. His real name was Tatsunobu; his childhood name was Kumagoro, and he also went by the pseudonym Seisetsusai. In 1848, he became an official court painter to the shogunate.
