狩野宗益景信 Kano Soueki Kagenobu (1786-1870)
Born 1776 (Tenmei 6). Last painter of the Kano family in Kanda Matsunaga-cho. His first name was Keishin. Also known as Shinryusai. Succeeded to the Sumigawa family. Involved in the painting of the new Nishinomaru Palace at Edo Castle with Kano Seisenin and others in Koka 1, and again in Kaei 5, when he was in charge of the 'Karino Room' in the Nishinomaru Palace. In his later years, he moved to Kanazawa and left behind many works.
