Kano Tanshin Morimichi 狩野探信守道

狩野探信守道 Kano Tanshin Morimichi (1785-1836)
Painter of the Kano school (Edo Kano) active in the late Edo period in Japan. He was the seventh generation of the Kajihashi Kano family of painters under the Edo shogunate. He is also called Tadanobu Morimichi to distinguish him from his ancestor, Kano Tadanobu Morimasa, the second generation of the Kajihashi Kano family.
