木村武山 Kimura Buzan (1876-1942)
Japanese painter of the Meiji and early Showa periods. Studied under Kawabata Gyokusho. Participated in Okakura Tenshin's New Art Movement, formed the Nihon Bijutsu-in (Japan Art Institute), and became a central painter in the movement. His style is characterized by grandeur. In his later years, he painted many Buddhist paintings.
