永田春水 Nagata Shunsui (1889-1970)
Born in Ibaraki Prefecture. Studied under Araki Kanpo, Terasaki Kogyo, and Yuki Somei. He was selected for the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts Exhibition eight times. He became the president of the Ibaraki Prefecture South Art Association. He specialized in flower-and-bird paintings based on meticulous sketches.
