Oya Beinen 大矢米年

大矢米年 Oya Beinen (1879-1966)
Born in 1879 in Aichi Prefecture, studied painting of the Shijo school under Okumura Sekiran at the age of 11. Studied flower-and-bird painting under Morikawa Sobun in Kyoto. Later studied under Kubota Beisen. Specialized in portraits and landscapes.
