Saito Shizan 斎藤紫山

斎藤紫山 Saito Shizan (1902-1963)
Born in Shiga Prefecture, 1902. Real name Yukichi. Studied under Yamamoto Shunkyo in the Maruyama-Shijo school. Graduated from the Kyoto Municipal College of Painting in 1932. Active in the Teiten, Bunten and Inten exhibitions.
