Sato Takayoshi 佐藤隆良
佐藤隆良 Sato Takayoshi (b1950)
A Japanese-style painter born in Minamisōma City, Fukushima Prefecture. Studied under Hirayama Ikuo in 1978. His work ‘Fishing Village’ was first selected for the 66th Japan Art Institute Autumn Exhibition in 1981. Subsequently, he received numerous awards including the Japan Art Institute Spring Exhibition Prize and Encouragement Award. Specialising in fishing village landscapes, he excels at sketching historic architecture.
