塩月寿籃 Shiotsuki Juran (b1948)
Born in 1948 in Meihama-cho, Seiyo City, Ehime Prefecture. In 1975, he graduated from Beppu Advanced Vocational Training School, and studied under Ichihara Kaunsai. Since 1976, he has exhibited his work at the Japan Modern Crafts Exhibition, the Seibu Crafts Exhibition, the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, the Nitten, and the Daisan bunmei art exhibition, and has received many awards. In 1980, he was awarded the Japan Crafts Chairman's Prize at the Seibu Kogei Exhibition. Awarded the Silver Prize at the Tanko "Tea Ceremony Art Exhibition for Tomorrow" in 1990. Awarded the Crafts Chairman's Prize at the Japan Sencha Crafts Exhibition in 1995. Invited to exhibit work at the "Japan Crafts Today" 100th Exhibition, Paris, 1999.
