Tazaki Soun 田崎草雲

田崎草雲 Tazaki Soun (1815-1898)
Japanese nanga painter. First name Un-芸 . Characters are Soun-草雲. His disciples include Komuro Suiun and Su Gakudo. He was the model for Tayama Hakuun, a wandering painter from Ashikaga who appears in Shiba Ryotaro's short story ‘Kenka Soun’ and Nakazato Kusan's full-length novel ‘Daibosatsu Touge’.
