Terasaki Kogyo 寺崎広業
寺崎広業 Terasaki Kogyo (1866-1919)
Born in Akita, Japan. He studied the Shijo school paintings under Hirafuku Suian. In 1897, he became an assistant professor at the Tokyo Fine Arts School. In 1901, he became a professor at the Nihon Bijutsuin (Japan Art Institute). His works gradually shifted from historical paintings of the Meiji period to landscapes, adding a Nanga style.
