二代目歌川広重 Utagawa Hiroshige II (1826-1869)
A ukiyo-e artist active from the late Edo period to the early Meiji era. A pupil of the first Utagawa Hiroshige, he was known as Shigenobu. He painted portraits of beautiful women, flower-and-bird paintings, and warrior pictures, later turning to landscape painting, gradually approaching the style of the first Hiroshige. He also produced Yokohama-e prints. He is known as Kisai Ritsusho.
