横山一夢 Yokoyama Ichimu (1911-2000)
Born in Inami-cho, Toyama Prefecture. Born into a prestigious family in Inami, one of the most prominent woodcarving craft towns in Japan. In 1958, he was awarded a special prize at the 1st New Nitten Exhibition. In 1963, he was nominated as a member of Nitten and the Association of Contemporary Craft Artists. In 1990, he was certified as the Toyama Prefecture's intangible cultural property.
