長坂雲在 Nagasaka Unzai (1848-1906)
A painter of the Meiji era. His given name was Toku, his courtesy name was Shijun. He was a samurai of the Kii Wakayama domain. He studied painting under Nakanishi Kōseki and poetry under Miyahara Setsuan. He specialised in landscape painting. He moved to Osaka and travelled extensively throughout Japan.
