野口小蕙 Noguchi Shokei (1878-1945)
A female painter active from the late Meiji period to the early Showa period. Nanga artist, Japanese-style painter. Born in Shiga Prefecture in 1878. Real name, Ikuko. Studied painting under her mother, Noguchi Shohin. Became a member of the Japan Art Association and the Japan Painting Society. She specialized in flower-and-bird and portrait paintings.
