Yaku Gakyo 夜久臥嶠

夜久臥嶠 Yaku Gakyo 
He is a Japanese painter active in the late Meiji and Taisho eras. Born in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto. Studied painting under 谷口香嶠 Taniguchi Kokyo (1864-1915) and learned the Shijo School and history painting. He specialized in historical figures.
