寺岡多佳 Teraoka Taka (b1944)
Japanese female painter. Real name is Teraoka Takako. Born in Athe Province, Manchukuo. Repatriated to Japan after the war and lived in Fukuoka. Received instruction in Japanese painting from her teacher Oda Chigusa. Thereafter, she studied Japanese painting techniques and style almost entirely on her own. With her unique painting style, she has dedicated large votive tablets to many temples and shrines.
