福与悦夫 Fukuyo Etsuo (1901-1981)
Born in Nagano, studied under Yano Kyoson. He was the executive director of the Japan Southern Painting Academy. After graduating from Osaka Art School (now Osaka University of Arts), where he studied painting under Yano Kyoson, he exhibited his works at the Teiten, Bunten, and Kanten exhibitions, winning many prizes. During the war, he also accompanied the troops as a military painter. After returning to Japan, he exhibited his works mainly at Nitten and Nihon Nanga-in (Japan Southern Painting Academy), where he served as a member of the board of directors.
