狩野永岳 Kano Eigaku (1790-1867)
Painter of the Kano school in the late Edo period. The ninth generation of the Kyoto Kano family. Adopted various styles of painting such as the Shijo school and literati painting. Adopted son of Kano Eishun. He revived the Kyoto Kano family, which had been in decline.
