山口草平 Yamaguchi Sohei (1882-1961)
A Japanese painter born in Osaka. His name was Koshiro. He studied under Nakagawa Rogetsu and also taught himself watercolour techniques. He was also active as an illustrator. He was married to Oishi Junkyo Ni (Yone) for a time and taught her Japanese painting. He was a member of the Art Institute and a director of the Osaka City Art Association.
