It is a term that encompasses a spirit of mutual respect; harmony between Buddhist teachings, one’s own mind and the surrounding environment; and a state of natural, unburdened tranquillity, free from attachment.

He was a distinguished monk who served as the 132nd Head Priest and Abbot of Chogosonshi-ji, the head temple of the Shigisan Shingon School, located in Ikoma District, Nara Prefecture.
