Daitoku-ji monk, Tea master, Calligrapher. He was well versed in the tea ceremony and was also known as a tea master and calligrapher. He also interacted with many political and business leaders, including former Prime Minister Ikeda Hayato, former Prime Minister Fukuda Takeo, and Matsushita Konosuke. He was called “the advisor to the political world” because he gave advice based on the teachings of Zen Buddhism.
