狩野探信守政 Kano Tanshin Morimasa (1653-1718)
Painter of the Kano school active in the mid-Edo period in Japan. The third son of 狩野探幽 Kano Tanyu (1602-1674), he was the second generation of the Kajibashi Kano family of painters under the Edo shogunate. He worked with 狩野常信 Kano Tsunenobu (1636-1713), 狩野主信 Kano Morinobu (1675-1724) on many shogunate orders.
