This Nichiren Buddhist Gohonzon by Nichikyō, dated November 2001 (Heisei 13), presents a clear and dignified arrangement of sacred inscriptions central to Nichiren devotional practice. The characters are written with steady, confident brushwork, giving the mandala a sense of order and spiritual presence without unnecessary embellishment. Each element is positioned with traditional balance, allowing the viewer to feel the quiet authority and protective intention embedded in the text. The signature “Nichikyō” (日竟) affirms the calligrapher’s hand. Accompanied by its original box (Tomobako), the scroll is well preserved and suitable for long‑term display.
