蕪城秋雪 Kaburaki Shusetsu (1840-1906)
A Nanga-style painter from Ishikawa Prefecture. At the age of 18, he moved to Kyoto, where he studied painting, and poetry. Later, he served as an official painter for the Kaga Domain. He left behind numerous works, including evocative landscape paintings.
