Japanese painter. Born in Kyoto. Studied under 山元春挙 Yamamoto Shunkyo (1872-1933). Inherited the traditional style of painting and excelled in Sansui landscape and flower-and-bird painting. Also known as a connoisseur of Maruyama School paintings, including Okyo.
