瑞雲繞寿山 Zuiun Juzan wo Meguru
瑞雲 means to A cloud of auspicious colour appearing as an omen of good fortune. 繞 means to Surrounding, circling. 寿山 means to A mountain symbolising longevity. Or, referring to a person of long life themselves. This Zen phrase depicts auspicious clouds (auspicious clouds) surrounding Mount Jūzan, a symbol of longevity. It signifies an unceasing succession of good fortune and celebrations, or a scene of supreme auspiciousness. It is used as a subject in tea ceremonies and calligraphy/paintings expressing wishes for longevity and prosperity.
